Jobs and Internship Opportunities
We are regularly approached by organizations that are looking for interns in computing or that have job openings. On this page, we list some of them. However, if you are actively looking for an internship or a job, you may also want to check out the Careers and Counseling Center web site, as they may have internship opportunities or job openings that are not listed on this page.
If you are an undergraduate, you may also be able to complete an internship for academic credit. In order to obtain academic credit for an internship, you need permission from Dr Andy Wang, our internship coordinator. Typically, you will be required to maintain a journal, documenting your internship related tasks and activities, and to submit mid-term and final reports. You can start an internship at any time but you will typically only receive academic credit in the semester in which you complete all requirements. If you are interested in academic credit, please contact Dr Wang as jwang@spsu.edu or on 678-915-3718.
If you are interested in an internship, but you do not wish to receive academic credit, please get in touch with the contact person on the internship announcement directly.
